Genesis Gems was built on a family history in the diamond trade.
Our story begins with Sammy, a natural diamond dealer with more than 30 years of industry experience. Over decades, he built relationships with jewelry manufacturers and retailers through a reputation for integrity, knowledge, and careful sourcing.
Growing up around the business, his son Dylan developed an appreciation not only for diamonds themselves, but for how confusing the traditional jewelry-buying process can feel from the customer's side.
Genesis Gems was created to change that experience. Instead of pushing clients toward a case of preselected jewelry, we work one-on-one to source diamonds, develop designs, and create pieces specifically around each client.
Today, Genesis Gems specializes in custom engagement rings and bespoke diamond jewelry from New York City's Diamond District.
